Hey folks 👋 it’s Emily here from ContentUK

It's been over a year since I took over running this community, and it's time to make a few changes. Here's what's changing:

• I'm shutting the Slack group for a while. I don't think Slack is the best option for the community right now, and I don't have the ££ to invest in an alternative, so watch this space I guess?
• I'm pausing the meetups until the end of the year. We've had a run of low attendance and no-one wants to venture out in the cold and dark evenings, so I'm hitting pause and thinking of some alternative options to get folks together.

Here's what's staying:

• The monthly newsletter. This gives me a way to stay connected with you all. If you ever have anything you want to share with other subscribers (maybe you're running a survey, have a project you want input on, or a product to promote), drop me an email
• The jobs board. I know a lot of you are looking for new roles, so I'll try and keep these updated. I'll also be bringing back the fortnightly jobs email, so you can get listings in your inbox.

Ways to get involved:

• Send me stuff for the newsletter. I love sharing stuff from community members and subscribers, so don't be shy!
• List your open roles. If you're hiring for a content, comms, or marketing role, add it to our jobs board to get it in front of the 500+ people who subscribe to this newsletter.
• Leave me a tip. To be blunt, running ContentUK costs money. Leaving a tip will go towards covering subscriptions and other community running costs.
